Salisbury PLS Enrollment Site completed the baseline assessment visit for the 2000th participant within the Prospective Longitudinal Study
The Prospective Longitudinal Study (PLS) hit the 2000th participant milestone. On February 9th, the Salisbury PLS Enrollment Site completed the baseline assessment visit for the 2000th participant within the Prospective Longitudinal Study. Dr. Sarah Martindale and Dr. Jared Rowland, two outstanding young PI’s at the W. G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center. They have been integral to the Salisbury enrollment site’s spectacular enrollment performance this past year.
Dr. Martindale and Dr. Rowland were introduced to LIMBIC-CENC after working with Dr. Kathy Taber on the Structural & Functional Neurobiology of Veterans Exposed to Primary Blast Forces Study as part of the CENC grant. The Salisbury site personnel, LaKeysha Rule and Cameron Crawford, are also key to the site’s success within the Prospective Longitudinal Study enrollment numbers. Since Salisbury joined the LIMBIC-CENC PLS Study in September of 2019, they have been leading the way with recruitment. Though we highlight the Salisbury site today, all of the recruitment sites within LIMBIC-CENC have made astonishing progress towards overall recruitment goals these past two years despite the trying conditions of the COVID pandemic. Thank you to all LIMBIC-CENC personnel for your dedication and diligence!
